Vinyasa Flow / Yoga & Pilates
Hi, I am Joyce (senior yoga teacher) and for me yoga is life, movement, change, intimacy and sensitivity. The lessons I give are Vinyasa Flow, Yin / Vinyasa Yoga, and Yoga / Pilates. All these lessons are aimed at a combination of strength, flexibility, relaxation and pleasure. In addition to the physical, work is also done on the emotional and mental level. Dare to be able to learn to feel. Soften and allow. Silence. Since 2004 I have been a full-time Pilates instructor with a Masters in Dutch Law. In 2003, after a few years in the legal profession, the movement from office and stress to body and relaxation came. Learning not to do everything from strength and control, but to learn to trust on feeling and intuition. After a year of yoga practice, I met Godfrey Devereux in 2008 and did a teacher training in Dynamic Yoga, which laid the foundation for my current teaching method. From 2008 untill early 2019 I had my own studio in Voorburg, and now enjoy a lot of fun lessons with Essential. Between 2003 and now I have followed many trainings at home and abroad by internationally known yoga teachers, with name in the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga tradition of P. Jois. Including in India, Spain, France and Israel. In 2017 I was in New York and Tom Knoles gave me a personal mantra in the tradition of Vedic Meditation (TM). I am looking forward to seeing you!
