Hello, I am Barbara Simons. In 2015 I completed the Hatha Yoga Instructor training at Yogapoint in Utrecht and followed the Iyengar training at Nanda Peek / IYVN in Rotterdam. As an additional supplement I have completed the Broga training of Matt Millen in Rotterdam.
On Wednesday morning I give a Hatha Yoga with an easy flow and Iyengar touch. The lesson starts with a calm warming up, then a series of consecutive asanas (postures) and the lesson ends with a relaxation meditation and possibly a breathing exercise. You can participate in the lessons at any level, each asana can be adjusted to your reach and challenge.
Yoga makes you feel stronger not only physically, but also mentally, feeling livelier, freer and more balanced by taking on the challenge with yourself and exploring and pushing your own limits. With respect for yourself and your own body. As a result, you will feel better in your skin, you will become more energetic and you will end up in a positive spiral.
